WisdomTree Deploys Full Tokenized Suite to Solana; Network RWA TVL Breaks $1B

Global asset manager WisdomTree ($159.3B AUM) has integrated the Solana blockchain into its tokenization infrastructure, making its entire roster of tokenized funds available to mint, trade, and hold on the network. The expansion marks a decisive shift for the issuer, moving beyond Ethereum-compatible chains to tap into Solana’s high-throughput execution environment.

The integration targets both retail and institutional capital. Retail users can access the funds via the WisdomTree Prime app, while institutions connect through WisdomTree Connect. This dual-track approach allows users to mint tokens directly on-chain or acquire them via USDC, effectively bridging regulated securities with the speed of Solana’s settlement layer.

“Bringing our full suite of tokenized funds to Solana reflects our continued focus on regulated real world assets across the onchain economy.”, Maredith Hannon, Head of Digital Assets Business Development at WisdomTree

Institutional Rails, Retail Speed

This is not a pilot. WisdomTree is opening the floodgates for its Money Market, Equities, and Fixed Income funds to run natively on Solana. The operational logic is clear: reduce settlement friction. By allowing USDC on-ramps and self-custody options, the firm is removing the walled gardens that typically isolate traditional financial products from DeFi liquidity.

The market impact is already visible in the data. Solana’s Real-World Asset (RWA) Total Value Locked (TVL) has surpassed $1 billion, according to the Solana Foundation. This figure underscores a growing consensus among issuers, including BlackRock and Ondo Finance, that the network’s architecture can support institutional-grade volume without the gas fee volatility that plagues other L1s.

Market Reaction

SOL held firm at $126.80 following the announcement, showing resilience in a choppy market. While the token traded flat (-0.3%) on the day, the fundamental signal is bullish: major asset managers are no longer treating non-EVM chains as experimental outliers. They are treating them as critical infrastructure.
